Guest Ratings & Reviews
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. While the rooms were on the smaller side with limited storage space, they were surprisingly comfortable and featured a lovely private deck. The hotel's lounge access was a real treat with its plush velvet couches and elegant marble tables. The service was exemplary, as the staff around the reception, pool, and bar were not only friendly but also very attentive and helpful. The location, perched on top of a small hill by the river overlooking Rome and part of the Vatican, offered a nice setting for a relaxing stay. The dining experience provided a diverse selection of continental choices but was a bit on the pricey side for some items. The facilities were adequate for a pleasant stay overall.
The hotel rooms felt very small and dated, resembling a corporate urban style with modern Ikea furniture. The staff, however, were helpful as we waited for the room to be ready. The rooms are smaller than expected for a 5-star hotel.
During our Rome visit, the hotel offered a pool view from the bedroom and views towards Rome in the upstairs seating area, which was delightful. However, the room was described as insanely small, not well thought out, stuffed with unnecessary junk, and just not comfortable.
Staying at the hotel was a delightful experience overall. The rooms, while beautifully designed with velvet couches and swanky marble tables in the lovely lounge area, had dusty drapes and were not fully prepared upon arrival. The staff, however, were incredibly helpful and assisted us throughout our stay. At around €500 per night, it's a bit pricey but worth it for the service received.
The hotel had stylish and modern rooms, although a bit small, with fabulous Clarins products and thoughtful touches, but the view from my room wasn't the best. The staff was friendly and efficient, especially in calling cabs quickly. The location was beautiful on a hilltop, making sightseeing easy, but the room felt cramped and the USB chargers didn't work. Only stayed one night, so it was a short but sweet experience.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were very nice, although there was a lack of storage space in our small bedroom. The service was good overall, but I had to ask for water as it was not provided in the room. The location was ideal for exploring Rome, especially with children. The dining experience was decent, with some standout dishes but it could be better organized.
